Larch is a strong and durable wood. Thanks to natural antiseptics, solid larch products are more resistant to atmospheric effects such as high humidity, rainfall, and temperature changes.
Riffled longitudinal strips improve adhesion to the surface; but, at the same time, they make cleaning and processing such as painting a somewhat difficult process.
It is recommended to impregnate timber such as spruce or pine to protect it against fungal exposure and harmful insects, moisture and UV rays.
The most important thing when installing a terrace is that the terrace boards are installed with gaps so that air can circulate and water drain freely. Likewise, the terrace cannot be touching the ground to allow the air to move freely under the terrace.
