Panelling/siding

Panelling/siding is done with boards with a well-treated planed smooth surface on one side. On the opposite side, they have a special routed groove that allow the neighboring boards to join firmly and tightly. This creates a smooth surface, so siding is most often used for interior and exterior finishing.

Panelling/siding is an ecological and aesthetically attractive finishing solution. Due to the higher requirements for the appearance of siding boards, only the logs with small and healthy branches are selected.

According to their purpose, siding is divided into two categories – indoor and outdoor siding.

The purpose of indoor siding is to be used in interior applications. These boards are planed and smooth; so, they are suitable for finishing interior walls, ceilings and trim moulding.

Outdoor siding is used to decorate walls and ceilings on the outside of buildings. Their humidity is slightly higher. Outdoor siding can have a flat or rough surface. Rough surfaces absorb paint better than planed ones, making such siding more durable.
