Maintenance

All materials need proper care; and, wood is certainly one of them, even when it is protected. It is true, that it is easier to care for protected wood. But, no matter which method you choose to protect wooden surfaces, it is better to avoid overexposure to water while cleaning, and if the wood surface is unfinished, we recommend keeping the wood completely dry during the cleaning process.

There are a variety of tools for waxed, varnished, or oiled wood. Therefore, try to choose the one that suits you and brings the desired results you are looking for. We recommend that you test the product on a small area to make sure that no changes occur. We highly advise against coarse cloths.

The color of outdoor wood changes over time due to weather conditions and exposure to sunlight. If you want to keep the original color of the wood, treat the wood with wood oil or water-based paint/varnish.
